Heineken turned to Dezenho in search of an eye-catching, permanent freestanding family displays to promote their main products: local/imported spare/6-pack beer longnecks, 12-pack cans and the 5L draughtkeg.
Design conceptualization had to hold and display three distinct pieces in a way which would inspire easy consumer association of the different kinds of product and pack sizes.
The result was a vacuum-formed wave shape contour that fits together all side pieces into one and at the same time had a nice, modern and premium looking when exposed separately.
The expandable units accommodate different store layouts, which allows the retailer to determine the type of product they devote to display. These units featured huge side banners with product graphics highlighted by a gloss UV coating.
Features
All of engineering and prototyping was done in-house at Dezenho. Strong steel tubing structure and HIPS (high impact polystyrene) vacuum-formed shelves specifications meet all maximum loading requirements. Recycled materials and processes help save money and reduce costs in an eco-friendly way.

Design
Heineken trade marketing personnel wanted the display to have a coherent and unique visual, both when assembled together or each module separatelly.
We came up with the idea of using a single and symetric wave shape side piece that would fit left and right side of the floorstand units, saving both production time and mold costs.
Engineering
The Heineken Wave Can/Bottle Floor Stand Unit has a strong steel tubing structure engineered for heavy loads.
External covering made of HIPS (high impact polystyrene) vacuum-formed pieces wrap up the main structure: two side panels, two central parts and shelves.
Four levellers, removable tubular protections held with plastic knobs and interchangeable visual graphic panels/price tags catches consumers attention.
